1. Fly Ash
What is Fly Ash?
What is Chemical Composition of Fly Ash?
The primary components of fly ash include:
Silicon Dioxide (SiOâ‚‚): Enhances strength and durability.
Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃): Improves workability.
Calcium Oxide (CaO): Contributes to the pozzolanic reaction.
Iron Oxide (Fe₂O₃): Provides structural integrity.
What are the Applications?

Fly Ash (P-100)
P100
Physical specifications:
Salient Features of P100
1) 100% passing through 45 micron and 0.25% retained on 25 micron.
2) Specific surface area minimum 625 m2/kg.
3) Water Reduction 10-12% less as compared with OPC mix in Standard Mortar and 15-20% less in CONCRETE.
4) Gives workable mix at water cement ratio as low as 0.22 at comparatively lesser admixture dosage.
5) RCPT Value or Coulomb value at par with micro silica mix. 6) Higher early strength as compared to Silica fume mix.
7) Substantial 24 hours or One day strength.
8) High performance concrete can be produced at much lower cost as compared with silica fume mix as price of Pozzocrete® 100 is less than 1/3rd of silica fume and on the top of it admixture dosage can be reduced by at least 0.2% which is substantial saving in case of PC based admixture

Fly Ash (P-60)
P60
Physical specifications:
CONCRETE
General and reinforced structural concrete with 28-day strength up to 50 MPa, including special types like mass, pre-cast, pumpable, self-compacting, and self-leveling concrete.
CEMENT
Blended cements (Portland Pozzolana Cement), such as sulphate resistant/marine resistant cement.
MORTAR
General purpose mortar for plastering and brickwork. Specialized mortars for oor / wall tiling work. Flowable mortars for use as structural ll in earthworks.
GROUT
General purpose grouts for use in earthworks for the treatment of rock cracks. Grouts for earthworks to be used in anchors.

Fly Ash (P-40)
P40 is a premium fly ash-based pozzolanic material, enhancing concrete strength, durability, and workability. Ideal for sustainable construction, it reduces permeability and improves long-term performance.

Fly Ash (P-83)
P83 is a premium fly ash-based cement additive, enhancing concrete strength, durability, and workability. Ideal for diverse construction applications, it ensures superior performance and sustainability in every project.
P83
P83 is a Ultrafine processed fly ash designed for producing High Performance Concrete (HPC) with high early and 28 days strength, highly improved workability and high durability. It is a potential microsilica replacement and can be used in dosages of 5 to 8% in HPC. It is obtained by careful selection through mechanical air-classification of coal fired thermal power station ash.

2. Fly Ash Bricks
What is Fly Ash Brick and how it formed?
Fly ash bricks are formed by mixing fly ash, lime, gypsum, and water. The mixture is molded into brick shapes and cured under high-pressure steam in autoclaves. This process activates a chemical reaction, forming calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) bonds, which give the bricks their strength and durability. Fly ash bricks are eco-friendly, cost-effective, and a sustainable alternative to traditional clay bricks.
What is Chemical Composition of Fly Ash Bricks?
Fly ash bricks are primarily composed of fly ash, lime (CaO), gypsum (CaSO₄·2H₂O), and sometimes cement. The main chemical components of fly ash include silicon dioxide (SiO₂), aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), and iron oxide (Fe₂O₃). These elements react with lime and water during the manufacturing process to form calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) and calcium aluminate hydrate (C-A-H), which act as binding agents, giving the bricks strength, durability, and resistance to weathering.
